The KMR QUANTEC is the mobile industrial robot system from KUKA. It takes your KUKA robot exactly where it is needed - whether in the construction of ships, aeroplanes or wind turbines. Even very large components can be processed with ease.

Thanks to variable components, we can offer customised solutions - tailored precisely to the respective requirements. The number and position of the robots installed as well as the size and load capacity of the platform and the tools are variable.
The KMR QUANTEC mobile robot unit consists of the KUKA omniMove mobile platform, a KUKA robot from the KR QUANTEC series, software and controller. The sophisticated navigation system KUKA Navigation Solution ensures autonomous manoeuvring through the space without the risk of collision and floor marking.

Safe and controlled
Thanks to the integrated software and control system, you can use the KMR QUANTEC reliably on the move. Manoeuvre the KMR QUANTEC into the desired position with millimetre precision. With the integrated laser scanners, the mobile KUKA robot independently monitors its surroundings and navigates safely past people or obstacles.
Multifunctional and strong
The KUKA omniMove mobile platform has a standard payload capacity of 7,000 kilograms. The integrated robot is a KR QUANTEC 150 R3300 prime with a payload capacity of 150 kilograms and a reach of 3,300 millimetres. This makes the KMR QUANTEC so suitable for particularly large and heavy components. Despite the high payload, it achieves a positioning accuracy of +/- 5 millimetres - regardless of the distance already travelled. Thanks to KUKA omnidirectional wheel technology, it manoeuvres safely to the desired position even in the tightest of spaces. The size and load capacity of the platform can be changed as required.
Mobile and independent
High-performance rechargeable batteries ensure a self-sufficient power supply on the platform. With its industrial-grade wireless technology, the KMR QUANTEC moves through its working area free of limiting connections.
Adaptable and variable
The mobile platform and the KR QUANTEC series robot can be customised according to individual requirements. Various tools, units or grippers can also be added or exchanged.
