ctrlX CORE is the centrepiece of the ctrlX AUTOMATION modular automation system and the basis for digital industrial control systems of the future. ctrlX CORE runs on the Linux-based real-time operating system ctrlX OS. It stands for maximum openness and gives the user access to the entire ecosystem initiated by ctrlX AUTOMATION.
Motion, robotics or CNC: ctrlX MOTION covers all conceivable motion tasks in a highly scalable manner. From simple single-axis applications to large production systems, the user will always find the optimum solution in terms of installation space, function and cost-effectiveness. ctrlX MOTION is characterised by the control of complex large machines, high speed and maximum performance, maximum scalability and simple, intuitive engineering.
ctrlX OS is ctrlX AUTOMATION's proven industrial Linux-based operating system and is recognised as the most modern, open and secure of its kind. It is hardware-independent and seamlessly connects automation components to the entire ctrlX AUTOMATION portfolio, including partner solutions from ctrlX World. Software-based functions can be developed, installed, updated and operated even more easily and flexibly across all levels of the automation topology.
ctrlX WORKS is the ideal solution for engineering automation solutions. The user enjoys maximum flexibility thanks to a comprehensive range of software and programming tools. ctrlX WORKS already contains an extensive portfolio of powerful libraries and modules for typical automation tasks. In addition, users can develop their own applications in any programming language.
ctrlX PLC offers a scalable PLC control solution that combines the advantages of classic PLC automation with the communication and functional requirements of the Internet of Things. ctrlX SAFETY is the most compact safety solution of its kind and has the fastest response times. The compact yet scalable system can be used as required - from the drive-integrated SafeMotion solution in ctrlX DRIVE to the complete ctrlX SAFETY control system. In addition to flexible use, the benefits include a very high level of safety and efficient engineering thanks to the graphical programming of the safety PLC. ctrlX SAFETY expands this established platform into a future-orientated safety system.
ctrlX DRIVE is the most compact modular drive system in the world. The system enables the rapid implementation of economical customised solutions that grow with the requirements. The drive system covers both simple single-axis applications and complex multi-axis machine systems. The system is scalable and has a universal design.
